TabVault — Privacy Policy

Publisher: Pixelvault Labs
Last updated: 27 September 2026

TabVault is built on a simple principle: your browsing data is yours.

What we collect

Nothing. TabVault does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or browsing information. There is no account system, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no remote server. TabVault makes zero network requests.

Where your data lives

Everything TabVault stores — saved sessions, automatic safety-net snapshots, and settings — is kept exclusively in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device. It never leaves your computer. JSON import/export happens entirely on your device; nothing is uploaded anywhere.

If you uninstall TabVault, all of its stored data is removed with it.

Permissions we request and why

TabVault requests no host permissions: it cannot read the content of the pages you visit — only their titles and addresses — and even those never leave your device.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will ship with the extension and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
