Tab Harbor — Privacy Policy

Publisher: Pixelvault Labs
Last updated: 27 September 2026

Tab Harbor is built on a simple principle: your browsing data is yours.

What we collect

Nothing. Tab Harbor does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or browsing information. There is no account system, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no remote server. Tab Harbor makes zero network requests.

Where your data lives

Everything Tab Harbor stores — the tab sets you save and your settings — is kept exclusively in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device. It never leaves your computer. To show and search your open tabs, Tab Harbor reads tab titles and addresses while the popup is open; those are used only for display and for the sets you explicitly choose to save.

Duplicate tabs are never closed automatically: Tab Harbor only lists possible duplicates and closes them after you review and confirm. Pinned tabs are always protected. If you uninstall Tab Harbor, all of its stored data is removed with it.

Permissions we request and why

Tab Harbor requests no host permissions: it cannot read the content of the pages you visit — only their titles and addresses — and even those never leave your device.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will ship with the extension and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
